We did the trek out to Lake Ballard (about 55km on an unsealed road, past Menzies) with Jennifer and Glendon to see the 200+ Antony Gormley statues on the salt lake. Each statue is modelled on an actual aboriginal person from the area, and they are dotted around the vast salt lake, which there would be no other reason to visit if it weren't for the statues. It was about 30C the day we went, and we forgot sunscreen-oops. As it was so hot we only walked to about 6 statues. But Buzz enjoyed running around, and Ethan sampled the salt.
