Holiday snaps from Tassie

We had a fantastic trip to Tassie at the beginning of November. Ethan met most of the Gales clan for the first time and loved every minute of it. Although Ethan slept for most of the long leg of the plane trips I still wouldn't recommend flying more than about an hour with a mobile little one on a regular basis!

We spent most of our time exploring Hobart and surrounds in between seeing lots of the family, which was great. Spent a day at the eerie but beautiful Port Arthur, wandered through the markets at Salamanca and experienced the sub-antarctic winds on top of Mt Wellington on the day it snowed! (Wind chill must have been at least -10C!) The weather was pretty cool, with a bit of rain, but lots of fine spells in between. Spent the last afternoon in gorgeous, quaint Richmond and wandered through the galleries and got very snap happy with the oldest stone bridge in Australia. The 40+C weather now in Kal was a bit of a shock to the system when we first got back!

We loved the scenery in Hobart. Everywhere you look there are water and mountain views. Looking forward to exploring more of Tasmania in the furture!
