Lunch @ the Broad Arrow Tavern The Two-Up shed The girls 1st Aussie BBQ In the big digger at the Super Pit Story-time with Melissa

We were all very excited to have our friends from the UK come all the way to Kal to visit us! I (Emma) worked with Andrea, Hollie and Emma in Basildon and Melissa drove the gang up to see us. We tried to give an authentic Kalgoorlie experience, starting off with a BBQ the night they arrived. The following day we did the obligatory viewing of the Super Pit, followed by lunch out at the Broad Arrow Tavern via the two-up shed. The afternoon was spent soaking up the Kal rays in our garden. Rejuventated, it was off to the brothel tour, followed by a drink at one of the skimpy bars. We finished off with a classy meal out and then the girls hit the Kal night life. Wednesday night was a little quiet but they still managed to amuse themselves dancing until about 2am! Ethan and the animals enjoyed the extra attention they received.

It was so great to catch up with them as they are good friends as well as previous work buddies and it was like I had only seen them last week, not nearly 2 1/2 years ago!
