Have been hanging out at home and enjoying the garden and sandpit quite a lot in the past week. Owen thinks the sandpit is cool and has added sand and twigs to his list of favourite foods. Should make the shopping bill a bit cheaper...

He had his 8 month check at the community nurse today and weighed in at a whopping 11kg and is 75cm long. No wonder my back is killing me! Yesterday he started saying "mum mum". Very exciting and cute! The art of crawling is still alluding him at this stage. So swivelling on his bottom and rolling will have to do for now.

Another milestone for Team Lane was the boy's first matching outfit. Wiggles PJ's were on special at Coles and I just couldn't resist!
