The rainbow lorikeets were VERY friendly!

The first night of our stay I discovered a possum raiding our bin upstairs in the early hours of the morning. We learnt to shut all the windows and doors after that, but that didn't stop it coming back a few nights later when we were all still up and about. It has obviously learnt that tourists are a good source of food! The rainbow lorikeets were also very friendly flying down onto the veranda and onto our hands if we had food. Owen thought they were pretty cool, almost as interesting as the ducks at the wildlife park...
