The boys started a 6 week AFL footy programme on Saturday morning. They were very excited and insisted on wearing their soccer outfits (courtesy of English rellies), despite the ball being the wrong shape. Owie was a bit shy but enjoyed himself with assistance from both Selby and I. Ethan insisted on being independent and doing it on his own at first, until parent participation was required. He enjoyed it for about 1/2 an hour of the 45 minute session, before he realised there wasn't going to be an actual game and decided it was "boring"! Will see how it goes next week...
