Ethan, our biggest baby has turned 5 and we had a lovely family day together to celebrate. The day started with present opening just after 6am. (We made the most of the fact that Ethan can't read yet and used "Merry Christmas" wrapping paper!) Of course Mr E was very spoilt, and loved all his presents. As you can see from the photos, the bucket of soldiers was a real hit. (He even insisted that his cake had to be decorated with them!) It was pancakes for breakfast followed by a trip to the movies to see Toy Story 3. Then it was home to bake the birthday cake for afternoon tea. Well the Team Lane birthdays are over for 2010, and personally I am looking forward to not baking and decorating a cake for a while...in fact I think the whole family needs a cake detox!!
