We talked the Chapmans into joining us for a 1 night camping adventure at Lane Poole Reserve, in Dwellingup on Saturday. I was very glad we had upgraded the kids sleeping bags, mats and also bought some thermals for them as the temperature dropped to 5.4C overnight. Despite the chilly night (and forgetting to pack our pillows) we had a reasonable night sleep with the kids sleeping into 5:30am! The forest setting was beautiful and peaceful and we all enjoyed the bush walks along the track behind our tent site. We will definitely have to return for a longer stint to check it out again!
