The Millen Primary P&C organised a camping trip to Ledge Point last weekend. Only an hour and a half away it was the perfect weekend getaway spot. Friday night was very windy and Dec woke at 2am and was terrified of the flapping noises coming from the tent...so I took him for a drive and then we slept in the car until 4:30am...well you don't go camping for a good night sleep! Despite being really tired the next day (nothing a bit of caffeine couldn't fix) we had a great time at the beach watching some dolphins and digging holes in the sand and making sandcastles. Then it was off to the excellent local bakery for some sustenance and back to camp for a day time snooze.
