Bickley Brook bush walk

The weather was so beautiful on Saturday that we had to get out there for a bush walk. We headed out to Bickley Brook, which we had been to about 2 years ago. It was all going really well until Ethan accidentally stood still on a nest of ants (bigger than normal ants, slightly smaller than bull ants)! The little blighters were very quick to climb up every ones trouser legs! At one point we had all 3 boys with their pants off and screaming (Ethan saying "An ant is biting my bottom!!!), while Selby and I couldn't help but laugh as we tried to sort everyone out! Talk about ants in ya pants!!! We ended up tucking our pants into our socks (a look I'm sure will catch on) and walking very quickly back to the car for a play in the playground and a picnic lunch.
