Camping in the Avon Valley (Day 2)...

We wanted to have a mini camping trip before heading off for an ambitious 8 nights camping in the school holidays. So we stayed close to home and headed up to the Avon Valley. Unfortunately there was an all night (8pm-10am!!) rave party happening in the national park. Although we had our campsite to ourselves and were about 13km from the action, all we could hear ALL night and into the next day was "DOOF, DOOF, DOOF!!!" Fortunately the kids slept right through it. I have already bought some ear plugs to take on our next trip, just in case!! Apart from the music and lack of sleep we had a great time and really enjoyed exploring the beautiful Avon Valley and will definitely head back there again.
