R.I.P Reuben

We were all very sad to find that Reuben had passed away while we were on holidays. Selby and I got him from the Cat Haven as a kitten. On the way there Selby lectured me on not just choosing the first kitten we saw. However he secretly had a ginger kitten in mind, and when he saw Reuben immediately decided he was the one! Reuben was 14 1/2 years old and our first fur-child. He had used up at least 4 of his 9 lives, lived in 6 houses and witnessed our family grow from 2 to 5 (8 including the other fur-kids!) Reuben/Schmoobie/Schmooboo was an awesome cat with a big personality, who liked nothing more than to hang around in the front garden and schmooze with random passers by. He also liked to hang out in the roof spaces of other people's houses! We decided that the most appropriate place to lay him to rest was in the front garden with the statue of the boys watching over him. Thanks for being such a cool cat Schmoobs, we will remember and miss you always xxxxx
