Day 15: Tura Beach to Wonthaggi

Staying cool @ the movies in Wonthaggi

Today we farewelled the Laneo-Ricey clan in Tura Beach, and also the mild weather! With forecasts in the low to mid 40's it was a good day to spend most of it in the car aircon. We drove, only stopping for toilet breaks and to make lunch to eat in the car. Towns we glimpsed on the way through were Eden, Lakes Entrance, Morewell and Inverloch, before arriving at our final destination in Wonthaggi. The caravan park was nothing special and not particularly kid friendly, but it was a place to sleep and close to Phillip Island which we were planning to visit the next day. With temperatures still in the high 30's in the late afternoon we found the local cinema and watched the quite ironically titled kid's movie "Frozen". For a special treat it was McDonald's for dinner. We had fun with the happy meal toy. I'm sure you will agree we make a particularly good looking Bat family!
