Day 17: Wonthaggi to Ballarat (via Melbourne)

We had a really enjoyable morning visiting the Wonthaggi coal mine. The underground tour was good fun with our tour guide who was 83 years old! Underground was a good place to be as it was around 14C, as opposed to 40C (again!) on the surface!

After the tour we headed to Ballarat via Melbourne (will the full toll road experience, what a pain!) The campsite had a great pool, and it was hot enough to get me in for more than 5 minutes for a change.
