Today Selby and I are feeling a little travel weary and over remembering codes for campsite toilet blocks! Another long day on the road driving from Port Campbell to Robe in SA. We only really stopped briefly in Mt Gambier to check out Blue Lake. It is in an extinct volcano and no one knows why the water turns bright blue from November to March every year...The Big 4 campsite in Robe is packed out and not particularly nice, apart from being just across the road from Long Beach, which is impressively long! We went for a walk through town, which is historic and pretty, with quite a few old stone buildings. The lolly and ice cream shops were also cool! After a sugar hit we went for an explore on Long Beach, where Deccie came very close to disturbing a bee hive! After collecting a few shells the boys had a great time swimming in the indoor, heated pool at the campsite. Tomorrow we are off to Normanville, on the Fleurieu Peninsula of SA. We are booked to stay for 4 nights, so hopefully can get in some relaxing time!
