Another day of driving, driving, driving! 1st stop was Balladonia roadhouse, where we checked out the replica pieces of skylab that fell to the earth not far from here. Then we hit Australia's longest stretch of straight road to Caiguna (a hole!). Time changed forward 45 minutes just out of Caiguna, to Central Western Time. Next stop was Cocklebiddy (see sign). Expensive fuel (diesel $2.10/L) and Selby was devo to find his Pepsi Max was 6 months out of date (first world problem!). Finally we arrived at Eucla! The campsite was not bad with a nice view. We decided to treat ourselves to a restaurant meal which was pretty good. There was also a nice pool there, but too cold for a swim by the time we found it. We will definitely try and camp here again on the way back as some of the other campsites we drove past were very depressing!
Welcome to the Blog of Emma, Selby, Ethan, Owen and Declan. We hope you enjoy the updates about the happenings in the world of Team Lane!
