Protea Safari Lodge

On Sunday we headed 37km north of Lusaka to the Protea Safari Lodge. There were antelope hanging out around the pool when we arrived. After a lovely morning tea sitting in the shade of the garden and a play in the playground we headed out for our first game drive. As it is the wet season the grass is very tall, making it hard to spot too many animals. But we did manage to spot some vervet monkeys, puku antelope and zebras. We then headed back to the lodge for a yummy buffet lunch. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday!
