It was really amazing to see so much wildlife from the boat. We were only out on the river for 1 1/2 hours and we saw countless pods of hippos, a herd of elephants, a small crocodile and heaps of birdlife. We saw so many hippos that at one point Owen said "Hippos are boring!" Hopefully the boys will look back later in life and realise how lucky they are to have lived in Africa and seen all these amazing animals in the wild!
