So you really never know what is around the corner! On arriving back from our holiday in Cape Town Selby discovered that his position in Lusaka is to be made redundant, due to government changes in the mining royalites causing the mine to close. He will work on in Lusaka until the end of February, while the boys and I will head back to Perth in time to start school on the 2nd of February. We are glad that we seized our experience here with two hands and saw a lot of Africa in the 11 months we have been here! The experience has been exhilarating, exhausting, interesting, intense and overall amazing. We have met some fabulous people that we will miss dearly despite only having known them for a short time, and we hope some of them will come and visit us in Australia. I think we are all better people for our time in Zambia, more patient and more compassionate. It is an experience that we will remember forever. We are looking forward to returning to family and friends in Perth, with even more appreciation for the lucky country we live in. Bring on 2015!
