Day 2: Kalbarri

Got a bit soggy on our walk @ Z-bend gorge!

A cheeky cider while we visited the laundromat!

The poor Howard's with their leaky camper!

Silly selfies!

So the weather wasn't very kind to us today! It was a bit drizzly to start with, but we decided to go with our plan of visiting the spectacular Kalbarri gorges. When we got to the Z-bend gorge the rain was well and truly coming down. We still braved a walk to the look out, but it was too dangerous and slippery to attempt a walk. The kids loved it and we all got soaked to the bone. When we got back to the campsite we discovered that the box containing Sam's clothes was full of water and the Howard's camper was leaking! Giselle and I made the best of a bad situation and headed to the local laundromat which just happened to be next door to the tavern. So while we were waiting for the washing to dry we passed the time over a cider. Back at camp things were getting very soggy in the Howard's camper and the lady from the front office was kind enough to lend us her massive tarp. The kids were happy enough playing in the rain and taking silly selfies. However with rain forecast for the next few days and wanting to dry out, we decided to cut our losses and head for Bullara Station the next day to see some sun!
