Late in the morning we headed north, through Bullara Station property, to the Gulf of Exmouth. The tide was out when we first arrived. But by the time we had lunch and rigged up our fishing lines it was well and truly in. The mangroves made the perfect perches for Ben & Dec, while the rest of us had a go at fishing. We didn't catch anything big enough to eat, but James caught a baby shark and we saw some sea turtles. Was a fun afternoon, which we were reminded of for many days to come, by the itchy bites all over us!
