4WD'ing in the dunes

It was another epic day spent in Coral Bay. We started off with a snorkeling tour using the underwater scooters. It was great to have a guide towing a raft for the little ones when they got cold and tired, while the rest of us checked out the amazing fish and coral in Bill's Bay. After morning tea at the bakery, we headed off into the dunes to Five Finger Reef. Being our first real experience driving in soft sand, we waited a little too long to let some air out of the tyres, and found ourselves bogged! Luckily there were some friendly and experienced 4WD'ers behind us that were happy to help, and we were on our way pretty quickly. After a great afternoon of more snorkeling and some unsuccessful beach fishing, we headed back through to dunes to our Bullara home. We felt pretty chuffed to have conquered the dunes in the Pajero!
