After about a year in the planning, this school holidays we set off on our epic road trip to central Australia. We went with 3 other families; the Bartletts (aka GIT Mobile), the Cmrlecs (aka Sir Brings-a-lot) and the Howards (aka Strap-on). Team Lane were christened "Too Many". On day 1 we headed from rainy Perth aiming for Goongarrie Homestead, just north of Kalgoorlie.
