We landed at Heathrow at 6am and were unable to check into our accommodation until 4 pm, so, determined to beat jet lag and not waste any precious holiday time, we dropped off our bags, and ventured out to see the must see parts of London. Oxford Street was walking distance from our digs, so it was a great starting point!
