Nothing in Zambia really seems to go exactly to plan...when we got off the plane we were told the temporary accommodation we had lined up had been flooded, so we would have to stay at the (5 star) Taj hotel, our first first world problem in a developing country! Although after 3 nights of cramming into 2 adjoining hotel rooms and not being able to prepare our own food we found a 3 bedroom serviced villa to move into, as a bonus located 5 minutes from the boys' school. The ideal place to stay while we find our feet and search for our long term place to rent.
